Veg Pulao Recipe
Ingredients:
Cashews
and Raisins-2+2 tbsp
Saffron
(Kesar)-pinch soak in lukewarm milk
Oil
or Ghee-2 tbsp
Cumin
seeds-1tsp
Whole
Garam masala-Cloves, black cardamom, Black peppercorns, Cinnamon stick(take all
these 1-2 pcs)
Fresh coriander leaves- finely chopped
Salt
as taste
Boil
the rice with some salt and cool it completely
Take
a deep wok or kadhai, add 2tbsp oil or ghee (i preferably used ghee because its
smells very sweet) fry the nuts and keep aside
Add
the whole garam masala and fry till it leaves aroma, add cumin seeds and the
rice and fry it for 5mins
Lastly
add the saffron soak in milk and nuts , mix it properly.
Serve
hot.
