Matar Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
Paneer- 250gms
Matar- Fresh or Frozen- 1 cup
Corainder Powder- 1tspRed chilli powder-1 tsp
Tumeric- 1/2tsp
Bay leaves-1-2
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Fresh corainder leaves for garnishing
Salt as taste
For Paste:
Tomatoes- 2 big size
Cashwes- 2 tbsp
Green Chillies-2-3 pieces
Ginger-1/2 inch
Preparation:
Take a grinder and blend all the ingredients list above for paste
Cut the paneers into cubes
Then deep fry the Paneers and put it in the normal water(paneer will be soft)
Take a deep pan and heat oil, put the bay leaves and cumin seeds.
Add the spices listed above in low flame otherwise it will burn
Add the masala paste andfry it until it leaves oil from sides.
Then add matar and fry for 5 minutes
Then add paneer fry for 2 mins again and adding salt and water
Mix it properly and covered it for 5 to 10 minutes in medium flame
Open the lid and by adding garam masala finished the recipe
And last but not the least add freshly chopped corainder leaves and enjoy the dish with rice, naan , paratha.
